Telehealth: One Year Later
Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in early 2020, telehealth has been a mainstay for physicians and patients across the U.S. Over the past year, as physician practices and institutions adapted to the new way of life, many refined their telehealth practices and developed new protocols. Thanks to new flexibilities, such as coverage and payment for audio-only services, through the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and private insurers, patients have been able to receive care in the safety of their homes, and physicians have been able to continue treating while limiting their exposure to the virus.

Join the American Society of Hematology (ASH) on Tuesday, April 27, at 5:00 p.m. Eastern time to hear from ASH Committee on Practice members, Drs. Colleen Morton and Jean Connors, on what has changed at their institutions over the past year. Attendees will also hear from Dr. Steven Fein, who has developed a unique practice to provide inpatient telehealth services across state lines. The webinar will be moderated by Committee on Practice Chair, Dr. Chancellor Donald.
